Best Advice
“Dont ever take it personally. Its not about you. Just get the job done and they will thank you afterwards.”
Clinical/Practice Management Pearl
If your listeners will just google my name, or google Reverse Preparation Technique, and see what they think, because I think it is a much more logical way to prep crowns then what I was taught in dental school. In an attempt to help all the dental laboratories out there, it would be great for dentists to take a look at it because when you start reducing enough in the right places, your crowns start looking a lot better because you have taken the handcuffs off your dental technician.
What Technology truly excites you right now
I am very excited about Chair-side CAD CAM and the direction that it is heading. When you look at the software improvements and the materials that are available for it now, its all the same stuff that your laboratory is using and I think its a great way to differentiate your practice to give your patients the opportunity to have a crown done in a single visit.
